Privacy notice

In short
No cookies, no advertising, no tracking, no forms and no scripts. This website loads nothing from other providers on its own. Your visit leaves only the technical traces every web server needs to answer you (see “Hosting”).
Who is responsible
Responsible for this website (the controller under the GDPR): Heiner Johann Hippke, Forellenring 22, 25436 Tornesch, Deutschland. E-mail: hello@heinzerlabs.com.
Hosting
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages), which processes data on our behalf under its data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Whenever you open a page, Cloudflare necessarily processes technical connection data – for example your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser’s details – to deliver it and to protect the site from attacks. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the site safely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep no access logs of our own and do not use Cloudflare’s request data to track visitors. Cloudflare may process data in the USA; it is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and also uses the EU’s standard contractual clauses.
No advertising, no third-party tracking
The website loads nothing from other providers on its own: no advertising, analytics services, fonts, scripts or images. Fonts and pictures come from our own server, and the site sets no cookies. Links to other websites – our game’s website beltandbox.com and YouTube – are ordinary links: only when you follow one do you leave this site, and the privacy terms of that site apply (for YouTube: Google Ireland Limited).
If you write to our address, Cloudflare’s e-mail routing forwards your message to our inbox, which is provided by Google (Gmail); Google may process data in the USA and is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We use your message and address only to read and answer it; we delete the address once the matter is settled and e-mails at the latest after two years. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in hearing and answering you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your rights
You have the right to access, correction, deletion and restriction of processing of your personal data (Art. 15–18 GDPR), the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) where it applies, and the right to object described below. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one where you live; the authority responsible for us is the Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein (ULD) in Kiel.
Your right to object
Where we process data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) – hosting and e-mail – you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR); write to hello@heinzerlabs.com.
